Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and versatile HR Generalist to support Digicomm employees through the full employee lifecycle. This position supports a wide range of human resources functions including recruitment, onboarding, benefits and leave administration, compliance, employee relations, and engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in talent acquisition and a strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws. This in-office role is based at our Englewood, CO headquarters and will play a vital role in ensuring a positive, productive, and compliant work environment for our team.
What we’ll expect from you and what you’ll be doing:
Recruitment & Onboarding
Partner with hiring managers to support full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screening, interviewing, completing background checks, calling references, and offer management.
Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
Complete new hire paperwork and processes within our PEO system, including I9 processing.
Employee Lifecycle Support
Administer employee changes such as promotions, transfers, leaves, and terminations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate and compliant employee files and documentation.
Benefits & Leave Administration
Assist employees with benefits-related questions and enrollment.
Support administration of employee leave programs (FMLA, parental leave, etc.) in compliance with applicable laws and company policy.
Compliance & HR Operations
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.
Support internal audits and documentation processes.
Employee Relations & Performance
Act as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns regarding policies, payroll, benefits, and other HR matters.
Support performance management processes including performance reviews, coaching, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
Conduct and support investigations into employee complaints or disputes.
Employee Engagement & Culture
Coordinate employee engagement initiatives including monthly events, wellness activities, and recognition programs.
Support training and development efforts to promote professional growth and organizational success.
Help foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
HR Collaboration
Collaborate closely with the Director of HR, managers, and employees to implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR service delivery and support long-term company sustainability.
Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
2-5 years of progressive HR generalist experience, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Prior experience with recruiting and talent acquisition strongly preferred.
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in addition to interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and sound professional judgment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Ability to thrive in a changing, dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred but not required.
Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required.

What you can expect from us:
This position offers a competitive compensation package including a base salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year and the opportunity to earn a quarterly bonus based on personal and team performance. The salary range will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
